The Public Works Department is responsible for operating and maintaining the Town’s infrastructure and providing other services to the community. The infrastructure includes streets, parks, trails, sidewalks, potable water supply, treatment and distribution, sanitary sewer collection, storm water treatment and conveyance, and public natural areas. Services include recreation, engineering, street sweeping, snow and ice control, fleet maintenance, etc. The department shares maintenance operators and equipment across divisions based on departmental priorities. Public Works Administration plans and manages programs; develops policies, procedures and priorities; and is responsible for overall department operations.
